Electra Mining Show 2008

Electra Mining is the only show case event we have in South Africa and we have a two-pronged approach to events like this:

The most important aspect of a show is to launch new equipment and at the last show, we launched two new products to the market; namely the Mine Master Low Profile Drill Rig and a completely new and innovative design from UV Botswana. Both models drew significant attention from our invited guests as well as new prospective customers who visited our stand.

The second aspect of a show is to invite existing clients to see the new equipment and meet with overseas counterparts. This allows our existing clients the opportunity to understand the magnitude and ability of our operation, plus we had well trained show personnel on hand to meet with new prospective clients.

On all accounts, feedback indicates that we met and exceeded our goals for the show and Management extends a well deserved thank you to all who contributed to a successful 2008 Electra Mining Show.

We have booked our slot for the 2010 show and there are some exciting new products that will be showcased at that event.

GHH LF-4.4 Version 8 Is Here!

GHH LF-4.4 Version8 - initially the LF4.4 LHD was designed to be as simple as possible but at the same time introduce innovative designs; particularly in the brake department. Over time however, and as pressure mounted for more safety system integration, the more complex the hydraulic circuit became.

Through collaboration with our customers and our design department in Germany, it was decided that the safety circuit should be electronically controlled. By doing so we have not only simplified the hydraulic system but the ability to integrate safety systems is almost limitless.

Added to this, the trend appears to be heading in the direction of installing Vital Signs Monitoring and Data Capturers and the Version 8 will allow almost infinite integration should it be required.
